Thank You for a Magical Trunk or Treat Day at Early Bird ChildCare of Arcade!
On Saturday, October 24th, Early Bird ChildCare of Arcade was filled with laughter, costumes, and community spirit as families gathered for our Trunk or Treat and Magic Show. We are so grateful to every family who came out to celebrate with us!
Teachers volunteered to create themed trunks featuring Halloween, farm, and pizza designs, all brimming with candy! As part of the event, families enjoyed a mini petting zoo with bunnies, ducks, and chickens. Halloween-themed carnival games and pumpkin painting rounded out the activities. We were fortunate to enjoy everything on a sunny, warm fall day.
The afternoon culminated in a wonderful magic show by Mr. and Mrs. Jeffers. The children roared with laughter as Mr. J. went through his hilarious antics. When the show ended, many of the kids raced right back outside to keep enjoying the outdoor activities.
This school year marks our 49th year of Early Bird ChildCare of Arcade. Over the summer, we cleaned out our basement and attic and discovered wonderful treasures along the way. We placed some of these items curbside for families to take for free, but many toys the center no longer uses remain. Because of this, Early Bird is planning to sponsor a rummage sale this spring. Please watch for more details.
We are still accepting new students for our fall registration event. If you are looking for a warm, fun place for your child to learn and grow in a home-based childcare setting, we would love to welcome them.
Thank you again to all the families who made the day so special. We loved seeing the children so happy, and we look forward to many more joyful moments together.
